Any chance of creating a Goodman's rule set for sci-fi?

The adventure begins...

The month of Flocktime, day 28, 591 CY: Hoardes of travellers from all manner of nations and climes, poured in unorganized jumbles into the free city for trade and adventure, during this season in which the roadways remained frozen and large scale travel was possible... The mighty heroes began the c...

re: re

I was also wondering about which books I should allow for use in character creation: ie. the psionic handbook, incarnum, and etcetera cover abilities not accessible to monsters in the adventure, while some combination of books make for overpowered characters, etc. I was thinking: players handbook, e...

I'm looking to make the City of Greyhawk the setting for the initial part of the adventure: Grey college, etc.

Then have the 'eggs of ill omen' make their debut.

Starting very soon; I'll keep you guys 'in the know' regarding the progress, etc.

We're all pretty much old tyme gamers -since the early/mid 80's- and have loads of experience to tap into.

Even now, before the adventure's even begun, rivalries are forming betwix some of the players.

Should be fun.

Why do you suggest the alteration from the ELH?

re:

Heck, even a D20 Gamma World adventure would be good. Goodman Games is not popular because it has '1st edition feel' d&d adventures -although that did intially peak my interest- but because it has an incredible pool of writers... ...who I'm sure could start dishing out all sorts of goodies, to s...

belly of the great beast

Question: What should I used for starting magic items/gold.

The Epic level handbook states a 21st level character has 975,000 gold, and is able to purchase one item up to 25% and no more than 3 items over 10% of that starting gold value.

Does this sound good?

I had the same dilemia; I built up the encounter to have these - now giant sized rats - attacking the party, and they did no damage.

I've a gizillian old Star Frontiers fans ready to gobble up any space opera adventure that's ready to go.

re:

I'd love to see some adventures for D20 Future in the same vein as the DCCs.

That's the biggest complaint I've heard about Future: no adventures.

Why better people than the folks at Goodman to remedy this?

Oriental Adventure

I don't know how feasible this would be, but I would LOVE to see an Oriental Adventures style adventure. Ditto for my group of players: they questioned this very night at a dinner why Goodman Games hadn't yet produced one. How could anyone not want ninjas and samurai for a one time evening thing? An...

...like Dungeon Interludes.

A compilation of really handy, one-nighters, with the option of continuing the campaign onwards.

I'm sooo impressed with this one.

#14:Dungeon Interludes- spoilers

DMed the first adventure tonight; it was a total laugh. Loved the wererat at the end (Blood Whiskers or whatever)- I made him super annoying, and he took advantage of the fact that the players were rushing to smear silver lotions over their blades during the encounter. ...and the bag of never-ending...
