I think the most recent publications in Btech (Total Warfare and TechManual) have revived BattleTech rather significantly ... but one thing outside the rules that Btech does spectacularly is art and fluff.

The plastic minis in the new BattleTech box set are pretty well done, as are a lot of the figs that come with FFG's big box games like StarCraft and World of WarCraft.

Of course a line of separate DragonMech resin minis would kick arse also.

Is there any info available on what the moon's surface is actually like - because my impression from all the lunar creatures and temples and so on is that it probably has a breathable atmosphere.

Glod picks up the Spark Generator, Cautorizer and Puppet. The Animator and Descriminator combo look a bit heavy.

Glod and Connaught finish off the baselists.

Glod is on the lookout for the following components: Animator, Bloodhound, Cauterizer, Discriminator and Spark Generator. He also will keep his eyes out for new and unusual steam powers that might have been abandoned as Nedderpick faltered.

Glod scratches his head. Coglayer's guild is worth a check. Better ensure that no dangerous steam powers have been left active. If any have been left lying around, someone might get hurt!

Okay - leveled up.

Added the Mechanized Combat Practice feat - so that should iron out the odd "can build the weapons but can't use them" bug.

Improved Disable device, listen and mech pilot skills.
