Now that's a great idea - not one the EL would entertain, but certainly a great idea for a sinister adventure.

What about cloning..either whole bodies or just parts? And what about that ever popular pulp staple...a brain inside a life-support system? I'mnot sure they've got the technology to clone body parts - plus who needs them when they've got Cybernaughtics (which they developed much of teh technology f...

What about people with "designer genes" for working underwater or other adverse conditions? It's possible, I suppose. I think the Eugenics League wouldn't be as interested in this type of thing as they would in perhaps making a new transgenic human strain with the properties required for ...

I don't know of any PBP etherscope games, but if you look on the Etherscope resources post (sticky on this board) you should find Andrew's Wiki, which is an online chat game. I don't think it's open for players, but it does have transcripts of the sessions, so you can see how it's played out. IRC ga...

Re: Paging Dr. Moreau...

How far advanced is bioengineering in Etherscope? Are uplifted animals possible? And what about extinct species? Any dinosaurs clomping about? It has come quite far, but I'm not sure about the genetic possibility of "uplifted animals" - the transgenic human races are human mixed with anim...

We left the role of women deliberately vague, so that people could do with it what they wanted. Women's suffrage was largely a middle class movement, so it could well be possible that women of a certain class had the vote despite the men of lower classes not haiving it. Similarly, if you want to pla...

That is a very nice idea. It would be a very good power for a scope explorer-type character. I'm sure we'll have such an advanced class in some future supplement of other, so I think we'll make use of that, if you don't mind, Mr The Dog :).

Sorry to jump in with a plug, but Just a Delivery is a great one-shot game, with some scope stuff and some out-of-scope stuff. I ran it at Gencon UK in 5 hours, with 1 hour of that taken to introduce the setting and characters to the players.

Thanks
A webpack sounds like an excellent idea. Any chance of one, Joseph?

I think there's a similar freeware font available for download from the yahoo group.
