Re: Would anyone here be interested in a Trump themed module

Did this become a thing?

Political satire, social commentary, literary and artistic experimentation, and boundary pushing is generally a positive in mature entertainment.

Ride Share to Gary Con 2016

Anyone from South Jersey/Philly area driving to Lake Geneva and would like to share a ride? I have a clean driving record and years of long distance boat hauling experience, including coast to coast trips. I can split tolls and gas, besides driving. Non smoker. My schedule doesn't permit me to leave...

Re: DCC RPG 4th printing: What do you want?

I forgot to say, the sticker would fit in the blank area of the end page and lists the names of all in the painting.

Post contest, the sticker could be slipped into new copies of the book being shipped.
Info could be available online for others to print out the sticker after the contest ends.

Re: DCC RPG 4th printing: What do you want?

This is quite ambitious, I admit... A wrap around cover by Doug Kovacs depicting Appendix N authors and early RPG creators, writers and artists as members of a large 0 level adventure party. The background would be a fantasy adventure setting, possibly inspired by a significant early D&D module....

Re: Appendix N Comic Books

I don't think anyone mentioned Marvel's Creatures on the Loose yet. It was published REAL early in the 70's and featured different characters for a few issues at a time. Lin Carter's Thongor graced the pages for a number of issues, as did King Kull . Later issues featured Gulliver Jones of Mars . I ...

I guess I might have been a bit presumptuous. I just assumed that if one entered a creative contest, one would naturally be curious if their work made it to a final round of judging. I know I sure am! :o

I'm at work so I didn't download it, but there's a link to the banned pdf at the bottom of the wikipedia page you posted.

Re: DCC Boxed Set

The rule book is a lot to digest, esp. for someone just getting started. A beginners version, in the 3 softcover volumes mentioned w/ funky dice and a campaign booklet that includes a couple of awesome adventures to start you and your group off...mmm mmm mmm, that smells like awesome.

Lastfm.com

When it comes to more obscure music, their radio player is much better than pandora.

You don't get the functions of pandora's player, but you'll discover many, many more new artists similar to your original choice which you likely wouldn't discover otherwise.

Kickstarter? Sounds good.
And since we're talking possible new styles....How about Black Long Sleeve T-shirts w/ the Gold foil DCC RPG design on front and Dungeon Crawl Classics written length wise up a sleeve?

Hmmm, sounds like a few of us trudged out to the same store near the shore in South Jersey. My local game store never fails to disappoint me. Hey Joe, I live in Ventnor, NJ, the next shore town south of Atlantic City. Right now we're waiting for Hurricane Sandy. We've evacuated to stay w/ family inland and should be safe. The past 3 days have been all about Hurricane prep (I run a boatyard near Ocean City) and a full day of prep for my ow...
