Re: Gonna watch Zero Charisma movie?

It highlights nearly every negative stereotype relating to our hobby and does nothing positive. Have to see it anyways... It's a gamer movie.

Open Seat, Fresno, CA

I have an open seat at my home game in Fresno. We play on Friday nights at 6pm.

Mature game. Lots of foul language, booze, and loose women... then we wrestle.

Just kidding. But we do try to make everything epic.

Yeah, there are a lot of games and not many players signed up yet. I remember seeing that they are expecting a lot of walk-ins.

Re: Aereth reboot for DCC RPG?

A wizard from another dimension comes to Aereth. Very powerful. Conquers many lands. Finally defeated deep in his lair. However, before his demise he swallows his Ring of Reincarnation. Upon death he is instantly reincarnated, but the magic of the ring (native to his home dimension) is distorted by ...

Re: DCC World Tour... in Europe?

I set up a donation website. Europeans donate. I buy plane ticket. A kind European agrees to house me for a week or so. I pick up all goodies from Goodman Games along with shipping info. I fly over and bring all goodies a little later this year. Kind European assists with mailing goodies across cont...

Re: Road Crew Questions

So, must the games be run only at the conventions listed to count towards earning prizes? Or would running public games at my local store or other conventions qualify?

Re: DunDraCon 37 (2013)

My DCC game is on the list of submitted Events -- but subject to final scheduling... You can find it with a search for "Short Trip To Hell". My buddy and I are hoping to get in on this one. Sounds great. I wish there were more DCC games being run at 3rd level and above. Our grou...

Portal Under the Stars

Ran DCC RPG for the first time this past Friday using Portal Under the Stars... it was great. The players enjoyed playing multiple characters for a change and didn't seem to mind PCs dying left and right. The most impressive idea they came up with was figuring out that the crystalline statues would ...

Introduction

Hi, I'm Clay. Been playing rpgs on and off since about 1985. Mostly AD&D 1e, 2e, 3e with a plethora of others thrown in between. I enjoy playing just about anything, but I always come back to fantasy games and settings. I've always enjoyed Goodman Games products, so I was happy to see their very...
