DCC supplement -- Mythoard exclusive for February
Hi everyone! You probably know about Mythoard -- the RPG subscription service that's like Loot Crate but with stuff that is actually good and useful at the RPG table -- but you may not know that the February box features a DCC supplement that is available in print ONLY via Mythoard. It's called THE ...

Update!
Crawljammer is now published by Moon Dice Games.
That's an up-and-coming game company that I just made up based out of my dining room. But it's official, starting...now. You heard it hear first.

Re: Appendix N Readings over at TOR
Oh, I'm sure we'll get to the planetary romance stuff at some point. It didn't really fit into the Gygax reread, since we were framing it around a D&D focus, but the planetary romance stories and novels I DID read during that period absolutely inspired my to work up the beginnings of Crawljammer...

Re: New Crawljammer Character Classes -- Any Requests?

Re: Appendix N Readings over at TOR
We wrapped up our Appendix N reread right around the new year, but we do have plans to follow it up with some things that might interest DCC players. First up, is our read of the M.A.R. Barker books (and at least one discussion of Empire of the Petal Throne). That should last about 5 or 6 posts, and...

TotalCon 2014! Who's Going?
Maybe I missed a thread, but I didn't see this on the board anywhere.
TotalCon is this week, in Mansfield, MA.
Michael Curtis is running some DCC. So is James Carpio. So are some other folks (including me).
Any of you folks going? Hope to see you there!

Psychic Knight sounds great to me. His energy sword is a manifestation of his will!

Re: Awarding Luck
It was great!
And the temporary Luck (I actually used Chinese coins to represent that) is super because then no one has to fiddle with their character sheets and recalculate any modifiers or whatever.

Re: Awarding Luck
I ran a game for nearly a year and never once gave out any Luck. And Luck was conserved, used only for life or death situations. But then I ran Daniel Bishop's "Stars in the Darkness" a couple of months ago, and that really blasted apart my reluctance to award Luck. If you haven't run that...

New Crawljammer Character Classes -- Any Requests?
Hey, so for the Crawljammer zine, I'll be introducing at least one new character class per issue. The first issue has the Lizardman Mercenary (a vicious, tail-lashing, laser-sword swinging fighting machine), and here's what's already designed or in-the-works for upcoming issues: The Technomancer The...

Re: What DCC Needs Is.....
Having taught DCC to my kids...and their friends...and a school-based club...it's pretty clear that DCC is a great first rpg for anyone, but that the text-based culture we grew up with is not the same as the visual/interactive culture they have grown up with. What I mean is that, as 10 year olds, we...

Re: Death of Ratface and an abbreviated history of "the Band
Oh man, I have to admit that the look of the various members of the band was definitely a central reason for my initial enthusiasm, but then I played DCC and my enthusiasm only increased! Still can't get enough of the Kovacs!
