Re: Abolish the Thief Class
My players love their thieves and use both backstabs and thief skills with their associated bonuses constantly. Also, your wizards can cast Spider Climb and Levitate if they know them , and there are downsides (like not being able to hold objects during Spider Climb). Ditto on Ward Portal and Knock,...

Re: Looking to Buy: Blood for the Serpent King
I don't know if you want a special printing of it or not, but if you just want the module, it's available as the second adventure within DCC #82, Bride of the Black Manse, 1st edition. (2nd edition has a different bonus module.)

Thoughts on Kobolds Stole My Cat! & The Gongfarmer's Revenge
These thoughts are from a judge's perspective, so... ****SPOILER ALERT: PLOT POINTS DISCUSSED BELOW**** Hats off to author Mark Tasaka of http://www.OldSchoolAdventures.org ; these are really excellent, well-developed 1st-level adventures which my players and I both really enjoyed. module links (fre...

Re: Comments on "Elzemon and the Blood-Drinking Box"
Is it possible the bridge was too hard because you had added in extra stuff before that point? I can see no inherent problem in "you travel for three days and you're there!" Especially, if a gaming group has limited opportunity to play. But if the game you run dips greatly into "here...

Yep, I don't know what the problem was either, but I was able to get them all from a different computer off of the main page without any issues. Thanks!

Re: Transylvanian Adventures Status
This, Umerica, and MCC/Terra A.D. all need more adventures! (Umerica especially since there is so much source material -- like 1000 pages between the CUaBM comp, the gazeteer, the Survival Guide, etc.!) I am still getting my feet wet in DCC, but when I do, this is where I plan to start (at least uno...

Re: DCC and MCC Stores
I can't help you on Nashville, but I will say that I called around to a lot of the stores listed on the retail locator in New Hampshire, eastern Mass., and Maine, and literally not one carried anything but the rulebook, many carrying not even that. So I would just say to either call around to your l...

Lankhmar: How Different Are the Rules and Why
I'm aware that the DCC Lankhmar adventures can be run with standard rules and probably will do that since I don't have the whole supplement, just the two $2 adventures and the Ningauble's cave setting from DTRPG. But, I was wondering, how different are the actual Lankhmar rules, and how specifically...

Phrasing Responses to "Second Sight" Level 1 Cleric Spell
One of my players has a cleric PC who knows Second Sight, and she's really fond of using it, but I'm a little unsure sometimes as judge as to how to phrase the answers. At lower spell check values, it's supposed to give them a sense (of varying likelihoods of accuracy) as to whether a particular dec...

A lot of the links off of this index aren't working:

However, I also realized that the main page is actually here, where the links seem to be better:

Re: Sanctum Secorum - Missing Downloads
Sorry, I meant the MP3 links were broken. That was unclear. Or are you saying you can get the MP3s at DTRPG also? (I did get the PDFs there.)

Sanctum Secorum - Missing Downloads
I'm liking the Sanctum Secorum podcast and the PDF supplements, the way that was done. Nice job. Only thing is, a lot of the episodes have broken links when you try to download them. Anybody know why? Some of the earlier half and most of the later half of episodes give a 404. link: http://sanctum.me...

Re: MCC character sheets ???
First thing I do with a new RPG I buy is go looking for characters sheets and forums. The official Goodman Games website has the character sheets for download (for free). http://goodman-games.com/dcc-rpg-character-sheets/ Those are the ones I'll eventually convert into fillable PDFs. More often tha...

Overnights / Camping
How do you handle multi-day adventures in which the party must camp for the night away from a town? I've been making PCs sleep after 15 hours (9 hours' sleep, more typical in lands without electric lighting) -- or at least saying, "Having quested all day, your party is now growing tired. You ma...

Re: MCC character sheets ???
The MCC rulebook (or was it the MCC judge's screen?) I bought over Black Friday weekend came with some official MCC 0-level and class character sheets that look a lot like the DCC ones, only adapted. So pro versions of these do exist. I don't want to scan and share if Goodman's not making them avail...

Comments on "Elzemon and the Blood-Drinking Box"
**Spoilers/plot points within** We started out some 0-level characters recently in a funnel, then ran "Sailors on the Starless Sea" (excellent module, very rich and balanced). I'm planning on doing "People of the Pit" as the next big adventure but need time to prepare it, so I gr...

Re: Future MCC Products from Goodman Games
My request would be for more lower-level adventures, 0-2. As it currently stands, there's not enough product to get characters enough XP to play some of the higher-level modules without writing your own!

I love Land of the Lost and have the 70s version on DVD. Hoping there will be a DVD port of the lesser-known 1990 show at some point as well. Definitely MCC port potential there.

Re: Introductions Thread - Join the Band!
Hi, DCC fan in northern New England. I'd heard of D&D in the 80s but never played it -- didn't know anyone who had a set. My first exposure was in the 90s, at a band practice. A guest vocalist was big into Ravenloft and gave us pregens to play while he DMed. FUN! Following this, I tried getting ...

Class Cheat Cards
My main gaming partner and I got into DCC recently and found that there was a significant learning curve between playing 0-level peasants and 1-level class characters. Here are some 1/4 sheet reference cards we made up to remind us what the classes can do and what the rules are. They're abbreviated ...

Burning Luck to Avoid Corruption
When a wizard burns a point of luck to avoid corruption, is the loss of luck permanent, or does it heal?
