Re: Abilitiy penalties
I.e. are these penalties treated like any other ability loss, e.g. it is possible to regenerate penalties via Restore Vitality spell (as long as the penalty is related to something "restorable")?

Abilitiy penalties
Hello everyone, are penalties to abilities (e.g. a strength penalty) applied to the ability score or to the modifier itself? I'm no native speaker, so maybe I'm missing something obvious here. For example, there is an entry in Table 5-5: Greater Corruption: 1or lower - A sliver of soul energy is cla...

Spell: Mouse’s Transference
Hello everyone, looking at the results of this spell I wonder, if all results of at least 26 should also transfer maximum damage (instead of normal damage). Switching back to normal damage but using a result 1 die up the chain doesn't make the spell stronger in comparison to result 22-25, does it? B...

There‘s meaning 4 which might make more sense in context of Lankhmar and Leibers stories.

Roadname term "Long-goose"
Hello everyone,
what is meant by one of the random street names: Long-goose?
I'm no native speaker and couldn't find a special meaning (even in slang dictionaries, etc.). Does it refer just to the animal or is there another meaning?
Thanks,
Alex

Re: Random God Names: Is Hesset from Leibers stories?
Thank you very much. Turns out the english bundle here in Germany contains only the first six books. So I had no Knight and Knaves to check - yet

Random God Names: Is Hesset from Leibers stories?
Hi Lankhmar fans,
for all the Random Gods from Table 1-13 in the City of the Black Toga I find references in Leibers stories, except Hesset. Is this a truly random name or does anyone happen to know more about it?
Kind Regards,
Alexander

#97 Queen of Elflands Son: Prince Ashheart
Hello everyone,
looking at Prince Ashhearts stats I noticed that he moves only 20‘ while the courtiers and guards move 30‘. Is anywhere mentioned why he is slower. Is he just regally striding while everyone else is in a hurry?
Best wishes,
Alexander
