I won't fuss with you for not gaming with clerics. But I would rather someone not tell me the right way to game either.

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures
Any news on this shipping out? Hey Blood! I will have an update later today or on Friday. I am just waiting for the fourth module to be approved by Goodman Games. It will be shipping very soon. I have over four hundred emails with corrected (or confirming) addresses that I am still sorting through ...

Re: Who holds the spell charts - GM or PC?
I don't disagree with any posts, it is just for me, I LIKE the fact that the Judge is encouraged to roll IN THE OPEN, so I have no problem with players rolling in the open and looking it up on a spell chart. The excitement / fear seems deeper when the player is the one who reveals what has happened ...

A couple years ago, most OSR halfling were depicted as about to be eaten by a monster or lying dead at the bottom of a pit trap.

I agree.beermotor wrote:This could be a conscious design decision, so that the fancy Spell Duel rules get used.
But there isn't any reason you can't create your own silence spell with a DCC chart.

Re: Larger modules to come?
I haven't announced it yet, but I have a large, high level module scheduled for fall of this year. It details an " adventure path" (in the old, Temple of Elemental Evil style") in a distant, chaotic land ruled by a demonic, priest-king. I do not have a name for it yet. BHP will coninu...

Re: Appendix N X-plorers
Sweet. Will it be compatible with vanilla (whatever that is) DCC RPG? I'd be curious how you take on Mighty Deeds , Fumbles and Crits. But looking forward to some ray-guns and interplanetary space travel. It will be completely compatible with DCC RPG - but a few such charts may eventually be replac...

Soldier Soldiers are trained in all weapon use and repair. They know how to blow stuff up, kill the enemy, and are deadly with or without an actual weapon in their hands. Appendix N X-plorers
As some of you know, in my free time (after working on Appendix N Adventures and shipping Delving Deeper Boxed Sets) I am making a DCC RPG conversion of X-plorers - a ray gun and bubble helmet, retro-scifi game. Basically, it will end up being a simple supplement for DCC RPG. I will be posting my wo...

Re: What's it take for Goodman to like it?
I'm a bit of an aspiring writer, hoping to maybe/perhaps/someday/hopefully get something published. Just asking, how would I go about getting a copy of a DCC adventure I ran for my group published and into the hands of others? And how much corruption could I obtain from doing so? I'm fine with grow...
