Older limited DCC core book pricing help please
I need to make room on my book shelf and have multiple (many!) copies of the core book. It’s been a couple of years since I have seen these three sold so I am unsure of what a fair price might be for these books. All of them are from a non-smoking home and only the fire wizard was at the table for o...

Re: Wizards and cleric spells (detect magic)
I eventually did treat 2-11 as lost and failure (1 as miscast or corruption).
But, I think there is a need here for clarification in the reprint, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something around cleric spells on the wizards list in the book.

Wizards and cleric spells (detect magic)
Just a quick question on wizards that have access to cleric spells...how do you handle them? For example, Detect Magic is a cleric spell allowed to be known by wizards...it only fails for a wizard on rolling a 1; per the footnote rules at the bottom of the spell listing table in tiny text it briefly...

Re: DCC: Warhammer
Would the gun powder weapon rules from the 1e DMG fit well?
I have to get home to get the details, it has been a long time since I consulted that table!

Re: Please review my Monk class
meivnt; well noted...I am just more focused on the mechanics that support what my player and I had in mind for the campaign. :D == My 2nd attempt/edit of the Monk above. My notes: I am still messing with AC and unarmed combat damage...but, I agree with the posts above, the original was too powerful....

Re: Please review my Monk class
Thanks for all the feedback; I am going the ponder and incorporate some of the ideas above and post back an updated version. My first attempt I realize I started out a little on the high-end; and I also forgot to write down some assumptions from the older versioned Monk (no str bonuses for unarmed d...

Please review my Monk class
One of my players would like to have the option to play the classic Monk. I took a try at creating one, tossing most of the magical-like abilities. I did not want to step on the warrior, so this monk has lower hit die, does not have the threat range or init bonus, also the trained weapons list was p...

Some very helpful advice above; I think I got this down fairly well.
...except for spells/spell-casters...any good suggestions on how to handle these on the fly?

little details
I have read the other posts and the samples are great, I am looking forward to the quickstart rules!
How about some details on how purchasing and encumbrance (if any) work in this system? Just curious.
