The Goodman Games Forums Are Closing
Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I posted on here. I still remember about 20 years ago when we first started these forums! I'm here to let you all know that we’re migrating our comms elsewhere! Goodman Games has outgrown its web forums. The software we use for these forums is incompatible...

Re: Submission shows still being reviewed?
Technically we are no longer accepting event submissions, since registration has opened. However, we haven't actually rejected any of the "late submissions." If all the existing events fill up quickly (which does seem like a possibility given the response we've seen so far), we'll start ac...

Re: Chained Coffin Confusion
Hi guys, Great catch on a silly typographical error! What can I say but "d'oh." The simple version is, the $39.99 version of the boxed set does indeed have the "color cover version" (as noted on the white box label) and not the foil version (despite the printed text on the box). ...

Re: What's Next?
Brendan just turned in the manuscript to BostonCrawl, the tourney module he ran for Gen Con, so that's next in the queue. Past that he's working on "Please Xcrawl Don't Hurt 'Em," which he discussed at our Gen Con seminar - kind of a big mash-up of all sorts of new options. And we have thi...

Re: Any word on the Gold Foil Edition?
Right now we're still on the color cover versions. The gold foil will come next. The foil versions have Jim's signature plate in them...which is awesome...but they also take a little more prep work based on that element. So, not yet, but soon!

Re: Anticipating Maximum Xcrawl
Glad you discovered and enjoy Xcrawl! Short answer: You should be able to buy it around early November. Long answer: The final stretch goal was the "swimsuit edition" dust jacket. That should ship from the printer next week. We'll then process all the KS orders. Once all KS orders are ship...

Re: Diappointment with DCC Annoucements
Don't worry, there are some big DCC projects in the works. They're just not all announced. The two boxed campaign settings from recent Kickstarters are obviously in the works (Purple Planet and Chained Coffin). Beyond that, make sure you attend our seminar at Gary Con 2015. There's something in proc...

Yes all of these are in various states of completion: written, edited, art, etc. If you watch the Gen Con seminar video, at one point we show off the cover art for the Ring adventure.

The PDF edition is available now but it may be a month or more before print edition is available again. These sold well at Gen Con and I have to do another print run.

Re: DCC dice at GenCon
Yes! The Gen Con dice were air shipped in from China. We have a handful of sets left over from Gen Con which will go on the web site in a couple weeks. The second, larger shipment is currently on track to sail later in the year, and we hope it will be available to fans by December.

Hi everyone, Another awesome Gen Con under the belt! I can't possibly recap all the awesomeness. It was a great four days. As a way of covering a lot of ground fast, here are some fun photos that will get across some of the highlights. http://www.goodman-games.com/images/gencon14/IMG_8306.jpg Brenda...

To be fair to the Ennies, I haven't submitted any products for years. (Still, individual authors do sometimes submit their Goodman Games work.)
To be fair to Goodman Games, let's just say there's a reason I stopped submitting product to the Ennies.

That is last year's Gen Con tee and it's sold out. But we will have another one for Gen Con this year. Hmm, maybe we should do a Purple Planet tee?Asimovian wrote:BTW, Can we get a shirt like the one Harley wears in the KS video?

Re: Kickstarter Shipping and handling
Rhetorical question (but answer if it suits you, please): Once there are enough GG Kickstarters to go by, do you think you might fold the shipping into the pledge levels? It would help in the "actually knowing how much I'm spending before I spend it" department. In either case, carry on.....

When it comes close to shipping, we will send you a Paypal invoice (based on your actual order and address). Hope that explains -- let me know if you need anything else.
