Next session is The folk of Osmon and amoeboid dreams. I am running that as a funnel as well. :D More news at eleven (or when we turn it up to eleven!) Thanks for the great Osmon session, Skars! The 3 of us definitely turned it up to eleven since we got at least one complaint from the next floor :l...

Re: PacifiCon - 2013
Consider yourself in the game Pesky, even if you show up late I will work you in. You will definitely get the lowliest gong farmer of the pool looking for action for being late as well! ;) Sounds great, Skars, thanks a lot. I'll do my best to be there; it will be soooo nice to be a player rather th...

Re: Mystery Map Adventure Design Competition
There were 24 adventures in the semi-final round, then 5 in the final round from which the final decision was made. Here are the 5 titles that made it into the final pool of selections. I will leave it up to individual authors to identify their own work if they would like their names to be public. ...

Re: Mystery Map Adventure Design Competition
Mr Goodman, Sir, I think many of us on this forum would love to see a list of the contestants and the titles of their entries that were sent out to the judges panel. :D Hmm, I have to say that I'm not a member of this camp (Sorry headspice!). However, if there is any critical feedback and/or judges...

Actually, Dak, I'm Jobe Bittman. Due to how close the announcement came to Free RPG Day, this *might* actually be a real DCCRPG product instead of a Free RPG Day give away, so you should be able to get it at your local game store. /em crosses fingers Congrats Jobe! I'm looking forward to checking o...

The artist Jim Pavelec has painted covers for Goodman games in the past. Re: A question about XP
That way, you encourage risk taking and player action. I completely second this. It's a drag to watch players "turtle-up" or hide their favorite PCs from danger, while throwing the ones with poor stats at the challenges (especially in the funnel). Isn't it strange how those poorly-statted...

Re: Appendix N - after 1978.
Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe has an appendix n vibe in my opinion. I think it came out in 1980. Totally! I'm reading Shadow of the Torturer right now. The world definitely has a Dying Earth vibe. I love Gene Wolfe's writing (Wizard Knight was my intro to him), but he pushes my vocabulary to th...

Roll20 can integrate with Google+ Hangouts. That is how I run my Roll20 game, with the G+ integration. Works fairly well, though we seem to constantly hit a slow dice rolling bug.
