Besides, its a good idead to make people who can snap your spine with their pinky feel loved, admired, and needed. Helps keep them from hurting you. Maybe that should read: I, dead. And it might have been a glimpse of things to come for Treebore if he ever shows up at Winter Fantasy...

There is a new "Dungeon Crawl Classics Character Record Sheet" (impressive title, really) in CW as well?? Cool! This rocks! Why, this seriously whiterocks! :D

Hm, might be worth a later add-on sublevel (as a free download from GG) to Castle Whiterock: "REVENGE OF THE PIE MONSTER"... and it needs to be creamed!

Or maybe it's a "pie-in" to this little beauty: http://www.montecook.com/arch_lineos11.html :)

Re: The Blackguard's Revenge - am I missing something?

(...) So far we've been playing for about 20 minutes, and they're already there with Master Chief. 20 Minutes?? Through the guard house and across the grounds, then up to the library balcony? But you did take time out for describing the scenes and environs, did you? No, honestly, I can't ima...

Adding to the secret of a door...

I noticed that in a whole lot of adventures the only thing you learn about a secret door is it's DC for detecting and opening it. Duh. :? Wouldn't it be nice to have a little bit of descriptive text to go along with it? What does it look like and how is it concealed? What are the telltale signs of i...

Regardless of whether the new rules will be better or worse than 3.5--which remains to be seen, after all--I am still furious about paying a monthly fee to get additional material. Since they likened it to buying "a special edition DVD" over an "ordinary one" of your favourite mo...

And from the review PDF I noticed you guys even managed to put some little "nods" to other DCCs into it. Like "Hilspek", a gnome family name making its appearance in DCC #1.
Way cool! Can't wait to put my hands on your "little" baby! :D

All this talk about "more clearly defined roles" in an adventurer party gives me wrinkled eyebrows. How do they want these roles to be "more clearly defined"? Is it just me or do the roles don't have a clear definition as is? "More clearly defined" sounds to me like &q...

Well, while I wouldn't go so far and call 4th Ed. a flop at this point in time it truly seems to me a lot like slimy described it. The D&D Insider Initiative is certainly aimed primarily at online players and computer kids who might have an easier time switching to a real rpg. But here the troub...

Since I have recently translated the module I would say that there is almost no light source. The Goblins (and they are the majority) all have darkvision and need no light. In some rooms there are fire pits and the like, so there should be little illumination. It would also be likely that in some ro...

Just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed FATE OF THE VIGILANT from DCC#29. I ran it as part of an ongoing campaign (which includes DCC#14). The characters were all third level so I had to adjust the adventure a bit. They fared quite well against the pirates and the final confrontation with Lórethe...
