WOW!!! I haven't been here in awhile and the new look is blowing my mind. The old look was bland but I didn't realize just how bland until today. Great job on the new style. :D I just had a thought. Did you put any easter eggs on the site for us to find? I'm a big fan of those. If anyone else is tr...

My 8th level Ninja Thomas. DCC #50 Vault of the Iron Overlord because of all the chances he had to use skills. My group started a new campaign with a new DM. When I asked him what characters he would allow I was surprised when he said anything would go. I had always wanted to play a ninja, but evrey...

A sad day for nerds everywhere.

I just heard that Gary Gygax died today. I saw him at GENCON last year, but never got close enough to talk to him. I really wanted to thank him for all the great games and fun that I've had over the years.

Cool Character sheet! 8) Nice old-school feel. Way back in high school I took a graphic arts class. It had a printing press and we made a small magazine for local businesses. All the money we made went towards the supplies for class. We got to do whatever projects we wanted with the surplus money. I...

When I ran my group through the first time only one survived. It was a very intense adventure for them. Especialy at the end were every roll they made seemed to be life or death. I really looked at the numbers the second time and I noticed this as well. I did the same sort of thing to solve the prob...

I plan on going to GENCON this year with my son. If we want to play test 4E will you walk us through the new version at the DCC classic? I guess what I'm really asking is do we have to purchase the core books just to play or can we buy an event ticket and show up to learn the 4E game? Good question...

i don't want D&D to flop, but I fear that WotC are taking the game in the wrong direction. From everything I have read, both on the WotC and ENWorld forums, they are essentially removing the aspects that make D&D D&D . That IMO is a seriosuly bad move. Sacred cows are sacred cows for a ...

Re: X-mas list

If you could only own 3 Goodman DCC modules. Which three? (I already have #’s 5, 11, 12, 17) Castle Whiterock! I know this is just one choice, but it's a huge box set. With out a doubt it's the best value for your money. It should keep your game going for a long time. I also think it is the best qu...

Re: Castle Whiterock....two things....the approach and pages

Just got this huge box! GOOD LORD! It's ...well...huge! Looks fantastic! OK...one bad thing....some pages are already falling out of the red book. That sucks. A little glue should do the trick though. Any one else have this issue? The 2nd question... So how are PCs approaching the ruins for the mos...

How about I will collect "back issue" DCCs for 3.5 or C&C. since, um, I don't have them all and it would take me another year to collect them and another four to play  This is what I plan on doing. With Castle Whiterock I have at least a years worth of Wed. game nights ahead of ...
