Episode 10 has been released! - Ep. 10 - Holier Than Thou This week on Spellburn, we’re continuing our series of up-close-and-personal looks at individual character classes. Tonight, by popular listener request, we’re going to cover the cleric class, which in Dungeon Crawl Classics, is NOT your fath...

Oh yeah, hirelings are always a great option as well. My smaller groups in S&W games always take a few along.

Re: Any guidelines...official or otherwise..for small partie
My first recommendation would be to still start with a 0-level. They are great fun and in my opinion help really get a DCC RPG game started off right and give players the sense of feel of a DCC RPG game. Easier to lose a 0-level character! I say this as a person that tends to not like playing more t...

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing...what gives? Never buy again.
Brave Halfling has definitely put out product in the past - I have some sitting on my shelf at home! As some have noted I think he's just had a bad string of luck just as he started to expand the Brave Halfling offerings. I went in for $20 on the Appendix N stuff on the Kickstarter. So far I have re...

Yeah, I am one of the judges who typically run that one without leveling folks up. I do replenish ranks from the keep area and Doug's idea of gaining some even on the steps is a great idea as well. I will likely steal that for the next time I run it!

Re: All good things must ecentually come to an end
These days summers require much more effort to keep the campaign going. I blame the longer days of sunlight more than anything else though. Realistically we probably have fewer things scheduled in the evenings. But with it staying later out, the kids stay up later, no school, we walk the dog later, ...

Episode 8 has been released! This week on Spellburn, we invited a bonafide Dungeon Crawl Classics neophyte to the show to share his reviews, rants, and reservations about our favorite system. You know we love this game – we’re doing a podcast about it – but what about everyone’s favorite grumpy grog...

I'm torn, I like hangouts, they really do work well most the time but the overall g+ experience sucks. I am getting used to the non-intuitive quirks as I go, but I am a sad panda every time I see "whats Hot on google plus" on my feed and it's some discussion about depends adult undergarme...

Re: DCC RPG Slipcase edition
I do not have much interest in a slipcase edition. I have two rulebooks already and if I were to pick up another it would be one of the limited edition ones and not a 3rd printing of the main rulebook in a slipcase.

I had a talk (via email) with the very good folks at Purple Duck Games, and here we are. I was able to figure out where Falcate Idol fit in my g...
