Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's
Or...what if the DCC had generic stats ("Orc, 6 hp, axe, chainmail")...and ALL detailed stats were available as a download? So if you play 4E you download the 4E stats PDF...if you play Pathfinder you download the Pathfinder stats PDF...etc. This would be great! Kind of like the old Judge...

Rumble on Dragonsfoot and Grognardia is that there is a DCC RPG in devopment. Could this be the "something fun" of which you speak?

Thanks for the conversion tips. C&C is a fantastic system, and the DCC are awesome adventures. Nice blend!

Unfortunate. I would have loved to run my group through that module.

That's what I thought, but YottaQuest must be one heck of a store. (Or have more loyal voters.)Alveric wrote:if this message board alone is any indication, Games Plus already has a lock on it.

DCC in The "Gamers: Dorkness Rising"
Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere. When I was watching The Gamers: Dorkness Rising I noticed a large number of D&D type products shown in the background, etc, and got the impression that the basic storyline of the movie was based on one of the DCC modules. However, when looking at ...

Re: 4E lite ?
My son wants to play 4E but I just can't plow through the rules enough to feel like I can actually run a game for him. Every power seems to link to some rule, and every rule just seems like an exception. Thinning things out to a few traditional races, a few tradtional classes, and limiting powers to...

Re: Further comments on Points of Light II
It's a great book. I highly reccommend it to anyone who likes to run short campaigns or maybe one-shot adventures.
I find that both of the POL books give me just enough information to get me started on a short-term game, then in a few weeks I can switch to another setting.

Re: Amethyst -- Free RPG Day Downloadable Content now available
Out of curiosity, is there any chance of the actual Free RPG Day booklet being made available as a PDF? My local game store had run out of this one by the time I was there. The title of the post certainly makes it sound like there is a place to download this material, but the post itself seems lack...

4E lite ?
Has Goodman Games considered putting together some sort of "4E lite" rules? Something with a focus on the more traditional races and classes, keeping levels more restricted, and presenting more of an "old school" feel to it? Goodman seems like a good fit since you guys put out so...

Re: What are the top 10 things you love about 4E?
I'm not sure I can come up with 10 things, but I'll toss a few out. * The artwork is really neat. Different from other editions, and distinctive. (I won't say it's my favorite, but each edition brings a different art style.) * I like the fact that characters have so many things they can do each enco...

DCC for C&C
Does anyone have a list of which DCC modules are going to be re-released for the C&C rules system?
I would probably buy the entire set in C&C, given the opportunity.

Re: Free RPG Day Recap
I started the day at Games Plus in Mt. Prospect, IL. I got there before opening and I'm glad I got there early. I was around #15 in a line that was two dozen deep before the store opened. Once they opened there was a slow, orderly line making its way to the freebies table. http://www.goodman-games....

Games Plus 101 W. Prospect Ave. Mt.
