Did your store already have the pre-ordering info from GG? I'll have to give Dream Wizards a call and see if they can pre-order for me as well.

If you're willing to go to other vendors, Reaper has some options: http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2500s/2568_G http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2600s/2664_G http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2700s/2712_G For Drow, check out the "Darkspawn" in Reaper's Warlord line. Or any of their &quo...

Yeah, that boxed set is heavy, isn't it? We've been thrilled to meet the eager fans willing to pick up the Gazetteer so quickly! Been one day and most of the boxed sets have sold already! So cool. But there are plenty more back at the office, just waiting to be sold online immediately post-con, rig...

Well, apart from trolls and drow, I believe all the monsters you mentioned are not SRD, but are the IP of WOTC. Since the DCC modules are generally written to the SRD, and the minis are usually released to work with a particular module, I'd be doubtful you'd see those released by GG. I could be wron...

Right now I'm trying to decide what to do next. Any suggestions ? I'd be happy to jump right into any module you'd like. I'm even...

Assuming they occasionally run away, they might survive @ 1st the whole way through. There are a couple of encounters that would be pretty harsh on 1st level PCs.

Speaking of having had enough, I'm going to have to put my money where my mouth is. (Moderators: If this message is out-of-bounds, please delete it). If anyone going to GenCon is planning on picking up a copy of "Known Realms", grab one for me too and I will happily reimburse you for the s...

Great post! Be sure to keep us in the loop on how the campaign progresses. I found your choices of which DCCs to use and blend interesting because I'm looking at a kickoff adventure where I'm planning to run a blend of "Idylls" and "Dragonfiend" using C&C rules. I'm trimming ...

Hey BASH man, quick question for you. How would you recommend converting things like "fiendish" and "dire" template creatures to C&C? In my personal notes on adapting "Idylls" (DCC1), I was just making the dire rats +1HD over normal Giant Rats from M&T, but as I...

Seriously though, to get back on topic, can we expect any other tidbits or teasers from the fine folks at GG on this? Or are we going into pre-con "spoiler-free" mode here?

Ditto.

Even if the "Crusaded" versions were only online (pdf), it would still be neat to have a copy with the stats integrated instead of just some notes.

Also, what about dual stats in future DCC releases? :D

So Harley, what's the thing that's coming out in August? You can't taunt us like this! Not trying to be mean, but the adventure is still in the final production stages. For the hard rollers still playing 1e, the *cough* "conversion" *cough* will be very easy. Look for it at GenCon, or off...

I picked this monster tome up a couple weeks ago, and while I haven't read the whole thing, I have seen a fair number of things I liked. I doubt I'd use every adventure in the book (Because by the time a party had run through them all, they'd be too high a level for them!), but I'm pretty sur...

Not to get into an edition war or the like, but for me, DCC's (#35 included) are for use with Castles & Crusades, not 3.X. I like everything about Castles & Crusades except the lack of a skills system. I'm hoping the Castle Keeper's guide offers a few options for that. <hijack> The skill is...

Hmmm... All mages. That would be interesting. I think they could make it, but they'd need to rest a LOT. While there are a lot of critters (like the first rat encounter) the damage output could be enough. If you had a dwarf wizarad with a high Con or some other atypical wizards, I think they could ...

Now if we could only see more DCC published for C&C and/or OSRIC. Great conversion notes. I'm definitely using this as a guide for running my DCCs with C&C! With the "official" DCC conversion(s) like Mysterious Tower, is that something that Goodman Games has to get permission from...

The other nice thing about pdfs is printing a page with a cool illo and cutting out just the pic, so you can show it to your players without revealing any text, etc.
