Re: The Secret of Bone Hill - L1 DCC conversion Play By Post

Ok, I'm willing to give you a pass and chalk this up to a miscommunication, but you've been to my eyes somewhat snarky about a few other things, so I read what you wrote as being snarky. Even your "I'm sorry that I didn't pick up on your clue" part seems more than a little snarky to me. A...

Re: The Secret of Bone Hill - L1 DCC conversion Play By Post

Thanks for the extra information that allowed us to get out. After 9 days of forum time being locked in a room it was getting frustrating. You might try reading descriptions and stuff. I mean, I typed out all that crap for a reason. From page 8: There's no need to get sarcastic or pissed off about ...

Re: manifestation

Once at the beginning when spells are determined but my players tend to forget about the manifestation in play & it hasn't really added anything to our game.

Re: DCC World Tour... in Europe?

I'm based in Friesland. I don't know who the DCC distributor is in The Netherlands. I've not seen any DCC books in the Dutch game stores I've been to. I buy my DCC books online from Germany & the UK.

Re: I get that the pre-order folks want to feel special, but

I have a soft spot for people who pre-order...what can I say? No plans to reprint Doom of the Savage Kings. All the more reason to make sure you get in early on future pre-order deals. :) I'd love to preorder but your shipping rates to Europe are high. If I buy 2 thin modules, you charge $20 to shi...

Re: DCC World Tour... in Europe?

Shipping to Europe is very expensive. Even for small items. And sometimes quite slow and unpredictable, even for small shipments. The only way I can imagine a Europe World Tour support program working is if the Road Crew folks paid for shipping (which I don't want...not really fair to charge them) ...

Re: DCC World Tour... in Europe?

I was going to run a demo DCC game once a month in 2013 at my FLGS in The Netherlands. It would be great if Goodman Games would support the Europeans who want to spread the DCC game.

Is the DCC World tour only for north americans?

Portly Trim replies "The button has no give on them at all Fosco." He hands Fosco some of his iron rations. "You look a bit worn out. Have a bite to eat, keep your strength up." Then he calls out to Thorin. "We can take turns with the pickaxe. It shouldn't take too long to b...

I agree about maps, and encourage you to make your own. :P Come, this is supposed to be OLD SCHOOL, baby! I find your descriptions of the rooms to be confusing. Re: The Secret of Bone Hill - L1 DCC conversion Play By Post

Are both metal doors shut? If so, Portly Trim ties to open both of them. Are there any metal buttons on the inside of the room he is in? Yes, both doors are shut. Both doors have handles, but they don't budge (at all). There are large squarish "buttons" adjacent to the handles of both doo...
