Re: Nebin Pendlebrook's Perilous Pantry - 0-level funnel!

As you continue inside, you are greeted by a home that had obviously been overrun by hundreds of starving "piranha" salamanders. Anything remotely edible was devoured long ago. On the far wall leans a shovel resting near a large hole dug deeper into the hill. A new torch and 50' of rope s...

OOC: Sorry Shingen, but we have to move forward. Please subscribe to the topic and try to check in at least every 3 days. Whether it is panic, or attachment to his favorite hen, that keeps him from acting we will never know, but Dervos grips that hen like a vice even as the salamanders' razor sharp ...

Meh. I've made him Chaotic in my world because how can a Cthulhu cult calling for the destruction of the world by a long dead god be anything but? Even if you think he himself is above the fray, his followers are clearly chaotic. “Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.” – “In his house ...

Re: The Ruins of Ramat - 0-level funnel

Ok. It's group initiative dodd, so we'll have to go with that 1 for your pair.

Red Robert, Honest John go first
Then Marvin (Xim is out cold)
Then Bad Guy
Then Jenkins and Joseph

Did I miss anyone? Assuming no, tell me what you're trying to do and roll as appropriate.

Indeed, once the ice and snow are cleared, and the silver disk aligns with the indentation on the door, the door slides open with a whisper, revealing a tube heading downward. Unlike the first tube you encountered however, the lights inside do not activate when the door is opened.

Willoughby, Krex, and Bitterbrew investigate the pillar for openings, interesting protrusions, blinking or shiny bits and wonder why it's warmer there... The pillar isn't warmer. It's just less covered than the area below the crevasse in the ceiling. Still, its got so much ice and snow around that ...

Jenkins runs into the room, followed a few steps behind by Red Robert, Honest John, Marvin and Joseph. Once again, as you enter this large room, waves of darkness and evil flood over you. Every light source you carry seems to be dampened and dimmed. The large, circular pedestal stands with the smal...

They go straight for Dervos' hen and Kleaver's chicken meat [EDITED] with razor-sharp teeth!
Kleaver successfully tosses his chicken meat aside and it is quickly and ravenously consumed by a mound of writhing salamanders.

Can Blackfeet see anything through the holes in the ceiling? The crevasse in the ceiling leads upwards into the ice, roughly at a 45 degree angle. Gray stone makes good weapons , thinks Tarr. Is it sharp on it's disc edge, or it's tentacle edges? Do the tentacles just flex up and down relative to the disk, or do they have a fuller range of motion? Anything underneath it, when he lifts it out of the box? Not sharp on the edges, no. When Tarr p...
