You could make a conversion of the 3.x spell lesser restoration too.

Maybe Bards Gate by Frog God Games the Swords & Wizardry version? Or the City of Greyhawk boxed set for AD&D 2e?

Re: Goodman Games DCC Monster book?

I'm pretty sure that "Critters, Creatures, & Denizens" ( DriveThruRPG or GoodmanGames website ) is the closest you'll get to a Monster Manual. Again, this is 3rd party, but as others said previously, DCC wants you to be creative with monsters, so it's unlikely they will be publishing ...

The module might be written already but there's a great thread on Dragonsfoot.org forums on ToEE and various "tidbits"

Re: "Can I roll a perception check?"

That's all real helpful, thank you guys! I'm liking how the simplified rules push for more creativity on the player's and judge'd part. Great stuff. I think if it's obvious then I wouldn't call for a PER check. But like the others said, have them describe where they're looking, if you want them to ...

Re: 5E Adventures

You could adapt adventures from one system to the other, and many folks do exactly that, but they are not identical in their mechanics. Right, keep in mind that 1st level 5e characters have a lot of hit points and 5e is designed to rapidly advance to 2nd level where as 0 level starting DCC characte...

Re: Goodman Games DCC Monster book?

I know what the book says about making your own creatures :) Maybe I'm a "Lazy DM" but I've always liked "Monster Manuals" and I thought it would be a great idea for an "official" book for judges/DMs with lots of stats for monsters. I listed those cause it might be &quo...

The +20 is from the Str bonus IIRC.

What exactly are you trying to convert?

I haven't picked up the main book yet but I LOVE the previews. Going to order one soon :)

I think a kind of 'atlas' book would be cool with write ups and adventure ideas for each area on Earth.

Any chance of a retro sourcebook? aka 17th 18th century tech/steampunk? Or will there be notes for a D20 Past type campaign using the setting?

thanks
