Re: Awesome GenCon!

Hey, guys! Thank you so much for playing in the games. I'm glad you enjoyed them. For my part, I had a blast.

Hope to see you all at next Gen Con ... and maybe Gary Con if you can make it?

Re: The "Big City"

The Punjar release posted up thread has the best images for the city maps, but here are the maps I use for my home games. Slightly more detailed, dramatically less professional. You need to click through a few times to get to the largest. Feel free to make use of them or disregard as you see fit! ht...

Great Gen Con Dice Off

Great Gen Con Dice Off What Chance to win DCC stuff at Gen Con Where That's part of the challenge. You need to find me to play in the dice off. Odds are good I'll be spending time at Doug Kovac's booth in artist alley. Otherwise you will need to track me down in the wilds of Gen Con. How 1. Bring y...

This is DCC level Awesome. You've done an amazing job with all the NPCs and the hound. The nuanced (?!) flogging was brilliant.

Well played, sir! I cannot wait to read part three!

Re: Sailors... Some help please?

It's my fault that it isn't terribly clear. Find area 1-1 ... there's a passage up to 1-1a, but opposite that there is a passage that is cut by a "cartographic lightning bolt" indicating "there's a lot of distance here, but we're aren't going to map it." (There's got to be a real...

Re: Next Batch of Modules

What about 4e material too? Seriously though, I'm planning on running the Punjar adventure path soon. Nice! Not as outlandish as it sounds. Sellswords and both M1 and M2 are right out of Appendix N. These are almost proto-DCC RPG adventures; at the time I was trying to go "back...

Re: Crits and Appendix N

Also, sometimes even Appendix N heroes need to cede the battle ... if only to return with a more cunning way of quickly defeating their foe. And you're right, you do *not* want to be on the wrong end of a big crit. Slogging through a long battle with a big beast is a surefire way to increase the odd...

More adventures are definitely in the pipeline. An 8th level (?!) adventure is in playtesting and I'm working on a level 2 adventure right now. Michael recently finished up a level 3 adventure with the most gorgeous Kovacs cover ever. And there is discussion around including adventures in the Annual...

Calling All 3pp: The Great Gen Con Dice Off!

I'll be attending this year's Gen Con with a satchel of Free RPG Day adventures. Joseph's given me the all clear to give them away to folks. But that would be too simple. No DCC RPG treasure should come without complications. Therefore, folks will have to dice off for their give-aways. But dicing of...

Nice! And for those lucky souls with negative personality modifiers: 0 You insult the shopkeeper with your copper-grubbing haggling. Only speaking for myself, the coming year holds: GenCon (Indy, August) Tacticon (Denver, August) Genghis Con (Denver, Feb) Gary Con (Lake Geneva, March) North Texas RPG (Dallas / Fort Worth, June) Joseph usually covers the West Coast. Hopefully we'll have more to announce as the year progresses. //H

Re: All those tables...

Welcome, Hogscape! When your PCs start getting spells, I'd suggest photocopying the spell tables for them. (Or printing from the PDF, if you have it.) The players can bind their own spell books, they have a cool prop, and it takes some of the work off your plate. (Plus there is a real sense of accom...
