Conan License?

Post by Persimmon »

Late to the party, but I just heard that the Conan license shifted from Modiphius to Monolith. Have to say I'm mildly disappointed as I think DCC Conan would be epic beyond belief. Why, Joe why?

Who's to say there wasn't a pitch to get it, but the license holders went with Monolith for whatever reason??

I am curious as to whether Goodman Games made a pitch, hence the post. I like what DCC has done with other IPs that I don't really care about so my joy would be boundless if they landed Conan (or Middle Earth, which seems an even longer shot these days).

Even if we could just get adventures and sourcebooks using the Lankhmar rules!
