Well I have been gaming for a while now but very new to DragonMech that our GM just introduced last game session. Borrowing the books I have several ideas for a character but a few things are confusing me. Namely the Ashigaru hybrid power mech armor. Now looking at this at first I loved the idea of the tiny mech but after viewing the stat mods the pilot has close to no armor. From the reading the rules one is kind of limited in the armor you can keep on while piloting a mech. So after the Dex and armor decrease one is a sitting duck in this thing. Does it provide cover to the pilot to off set the AC issue or am I just better off just making a normal mech? Also can you modify it like a normal mech for example the Extra weapon mounts? I am not sure on that due to its size or does it only add 1 PU instead of 2 like normal.
