I will be wearing the gear smith armor when in public areas, resting etc., and wearing hydraulic in more dangerous situations. The artificial liver and refined controls are used to increase max dex, and reduce check penalties respectively, I was not sure what amount you wanted the liver to modify max dex, so it is not included in above ACs. the air generator supplies both myself and the armor's steam engine with air, allowing it to operate underwater.

Ah the height of pride. I wrote the artificial liver. :)_
I never imagined putting it in hydrolic armor. It was meant to increase a mech's Dexterity score by two but in armor it would increase the maximum dexterity bonus by +1 (as if you had +2 Dex) instead of increasing the Dexterity score. (Hydrolic armor does not have ability scores). From a role-playing perspective the artificial liver allows the armor to function longer without changing the oil. You can also red-line it with less of a chance of disaster.
Refined Controls would give you a +2 bonus to Balance, Climb, Escape Artist, Hide, Move Silently, Sleight of Hand, Swim made in the armor which would help to slightly offset the huge armor check penalty for most of those skills.
The character looks fine.
