It says 2007, but here it is nearly August with nothing but tumbleweeds around...

Wizard's of the Coast just announced that they will release D&D 4e in May of 2008. Because of this announcement, ironically, I am even more enthused about Dungeoneer. I would rather buy the single Dungeoneer book (instead of replacing all 3 of my core D&D books.)goodmangames wrote:We're now looking at early 2008.

We are currently editing the booklets. So close to being done!
I don't know what the release date could be.

Update on release dates from Atlas Games forums
Michelle Nephew of Atlas Games
http://www.atlas-games.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3400
Here is a link:I asked Thomas Denmark about it, and here's his response ...
"Dungeoneer Adventures (the RPG) goes to press Jun 1 and will be available Holiday season '08. As a note I believe Goodman Games is planning on marketing it more as a boardgame then as an RPG, considering the current market (it is very much a hybrid).
"Dungeoneer Scenarios is a collection of variant rules for the card game I have been collecting and expanding on over the years and have been considering selling it POD or downloadable PDF. It will be completed "someday"."

Shame to see it slip another 3/4 of a year...Thomas Denmark wrote:Dungeoneer Adventures (the RPG) goes to press Jun 1 and will be available Holiday season '08.
Re: release date?
I can't tell you how much I wait for Dungeoneer Adventures. Please update the blog more frequently.
As I see the game goes to the printers in June.
So, when will it be in stores? Summer, autumn or winter?

A board game? Ugh. Scratch Dungeoneer off my gaming list.jesse.colegoldberg wrote:Michelle Nephew of Atlas GamesHere is a link:I asked Thomas Denmark about it, and here's his response ...

Re: release date?
There were some updates on Mr. Denmark's Dungeoneer blog at the beginning of May.
He has this to say in his May 5th post:
"I'll try to post more frequently - the time is getting short when this goes to press!"
There are also some workups of hero sheets and descriptions of mechanics.
Here is a link.
