hey all,
i'm new to DCC and new to the form. i've been working on a 0-lvl character generator based on the DCC RPG Quick Start Rules. would love some feedback on it. i'm looking forward to getting the core rulebook, updating the generator, and playing some DCC!

Wow! That is really cool! I love the 8-bit DOS/Basic look.

I think you should ask the "To hit" modifier next to the weapon as well as the damage and modifier. That's always useful.

I'm pretty sure the Core-Rule Book character generation is the same as the Quick Start Rules so there shouldn't be any updating necessary once you obtain it.

DCC is a super fun! I hope you really enjoy it and welcome to the forum!

no bubble bursting for here. i assumed there are probably generators out there. just wanted to get more familiar with the character funnel and put my spin out it. thanks for the feedback!

I find building tables, Excel worksheets, and cheat sheets are a great way for me to learn the details of the game. I am totally with you!

Can you make the results savable?

I wound up taking screen shots of them.

I'll have to write these onto character sheets later, but the best option would be to save the results to a pdf.

Still, this is really cool!

Cool look, reminds me of playing LORD on BBSes. My only gripe is that it doesn't include all the character information: title, XP, etc. If it included all of that, plus maybe moved the birth augur to somewhere less prominent and had a print or export to pdf feature, I'd use it regularly.
