FEF#5 Missing pdf code

Post by purpleplatypus »

So i just recently bought FEF5 directly from Goodman. Somehow missed it on free rpg day. The previous 4 of adventures all came with a download code for the pdf through rpgnow.com. Maybe I am missing something but I can't seem to find it in the copy I just received.

Did anyone else have a code in their books or was this something that only the first four did?

Thanks,
Richard

Have you contacted them directly? The forum isn't patrolled comprehensively by those who run things...

Not yet just wanted to see if it was expected or not. Hate to whine about it if it wasn't intended to be included.

Ok just heard back from goodman so in case anyone else is wondering the same thing here is the answer:

"Hi there - Fifth Edition Fantasy #5 is the one copy that doesn’t include a PDF. It was originally released for Free RPG Day and basically there were some technical challenges around the PDF codes on this particular one. But future FEF modules will go back to including the download codes."

That was going to be my guess, actually, since the one codeless module was also a free giveaway. Makes sense the the for-purchase modules would come with a free PDF while the free modules might not.
